There are a lot of uncertainties about packaging & label design these days because of AI, DIY, or contest websites. Here’s a few FAQ’s to help clear up any concerns.
What's the difference between the 2 package levels?
* Design: Essential
This package uses your existing logo or a product image/photo as the main focus, with add-on options for enhanced, custom illustrations or artwork for flavors/scents.
* Design: AI CPG Handoff
This package takes your AI-generated layout or design and hands it off to our team to produce fully printer-ready files. Add-on vector redraw options for flavors/scents.
Why do some buttons say ``Only For Clients``?
If you’re new here, those yellow package buttons will say “Only For Clients”. Our process will then begin with a consultation to understand your product, market, and existing branding elements (logo design, brand guideline, etc) before working together.
If we designed your logo, we know your brand (fonts, color, patterns). Once logged into your account, you’ll be able to “Select Package” to add these services to your cart.
Once your order is purchased, you’ll be redirected to our Packaging & Label Design creative design brief. You can find a preview of the brief below. We will review the completed brief, confirm everything with you, then get started.

Yes, having a logo design in place before beginning packaging or label design is required. Starting with a well-defined logo ensures consistency across all your branding materials, making your products instantly recognizable to customers.
If you don’t have a logo yet, our team can help design one that aligns with your brand vision before we proceed with creating your packaging and labels.
Do you offer discounts for multiple services in a single project?
Yes. If your CPG product requires a label design as well as box design, we will offer a discount on the overall project to keep costs down.
Discounts will be offered for the purchase of 5 or more +1 variations in a single project.

What information is needed to get started?
We kick off every project with a deep dive into your vision. You’ll start by completing our design brief, which provides us with essential information. Then, we’ll schedule a kickoff call to review your brand guidelines together and ensure we’re on the same page. To make this process as smooth as possible, please have any must-have text for your packaging or labels finalized, and share any design inspiration you have – mood boards, sketches, or examples you love are all welcome!
We require all print-ready content be provided before the project begins, including but not limited to text, images, nutrition facts, ingredients, allergy notices, etc., along with any printer-specific files or guidelines to confirm canvas size.
What file formats will I receive for my designs?
To ensure your packaging and labels are print-ready, we’ll provide you with the necessary file formats. While this typically includes AI, EPS, or PDF formats, we’ll tailor the deliverables to meet your specific printer’s requirements and guidelines. Just let us know those details upfront so we can deliver files that are perfectly optimized for your project.
How long does it typically take to complete a packaging or label design project?
We’re committed to delivering exceptional designs efficiently. To achieve this, we kindly request that all content be as finalized as possible before the project start date. This allows our team to focus on the creative process and avoid delays. While the timeline can vary based on the project’s complexity, it generally ranges from 2 to 4 weeks. By working together and having your content ready, we can ensure a smooth and timely completion of your packaging and label designs.
