What is a logo system?
A logo system is a set of variations built around your core logo. It includes things like a separate file for your icon/brandmark, different color or alignment combinations, and text-only versions of your logo. This system ensures your logo looks great and remains recognizable no matter where it’s used – business cards, giant billboards, or even tiny social media icons. Think of it as a toolkit for maintaining a strong brand identity across all your materials. This is included in all logo design packages besides for Basic, which is just a Wordmark style logo that does not require a logo system variety.

How do you approach the logo design process?
Once your order is completed, you’ll be redirected to our simple logo design creative brief. Upon completion of the design brief, you will hear from Megan or Joe (Wife & Husband Duo), owners of Logo Design NYC for the design phase to begin.
From there, our process begins with understanding your brand, target audience, and industry. We then brainstorm ideas, sketch concepts, and create digital drafts. After presenting initial designs, we refine based on your feedback to finalize the perfect logo.
How long does it take to design a logo?
The timeline varies depending on the complexity of the project and client feedback. On average, it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. We prioritize quality and client satisfaction over speed.
Can I be involved in the design process?
Absolutely! Client collaboration is key. We encourage you to share your ideas, preferences, and feedback throughout the process to ensure the final logo aligns with your vision. This is all part of our design revision rounds.
Note: It is recommended narrow down the selections from each round to avoid additional rounds needed outside of the selected package.
How many design concepts will I receive?
Our design packages range from 3-7 initial concepts depending on the package selected. This range allows for diverse creative options without overwhelming you with choices.
What if I don’t like any of the initial concepts?
If the initial concepts don’t resonate, we’ll gather more feedback from you and provide additional designs within scope. Our goal is to create a logo you love, based on clear feedback from you and your team.
What formats will I receive my logo in?
You’ll receive your logo in various formats including .AI, .EPS, .PDF, .PNG, and .JPG, suitable for both print and digital use.
Will I own the Copyrights for my selected design?
Yes. Once the design is finalized, you’ll receive downloadable digital files of your logo design. With the completion of your project, you become an owner of the copyright for your logo design.
What rights does Logo Design NYC retain to the final artwork?
Logo Design NYC reserves the right to display any artwork, ideas or sketches created for this project in our portfolio or case studies, in various online galleries and in logo process posts as examples of client work.
If you are unhappy with Logo Design NYC displaying your logo design in portfolios and in other online inspiration galleries, please discuss this with us before proceeding with the project order, as additional fees may apply.
